Gift for my boyfriend for our anniversary <3
First he asked for a Siberian tiger... and I drew one... then he said maybe he wanted a peregrine falcon... so here we have a tiger and a peregrine falcon, which I don't think would be in the same place at the same time. Eh.
I was kind of rushed to finish this, and I did it in one long sitting until 2:30am. I personally like the falcon a lot and am fairly proud of the background, but I really regretted doing the sky right after I did it. Ugh. You can probably tell I was getting pretty tired by the time I colored the tiger ><
My first colored pencil piece in a while; it felt good. Watermarked because it's special <3
Critiques discouraged because it's already framed and in his room, so it will not be altered.
Oh yeah, also, the scanner really butchered the colors. I tried fiddling a bit in photoshop, but yeah... it looks better IRL.
This is so cool!! It caught my eye while browsing because of the clean, elegant lines. I really like the style...and that falcon is amazing!! Great job!

Life is like Tetris... you aren't always given the pieces that fit nicely, but if you don't make do with what you get the screen fills up and you get a game over.. or something like that.
Hehe, you're still quite good with color pencil m'dearie. I actually can't tell that you rushed.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
