Introducing the Kikuri! These guys are a project I've been poking at on and off for a few years. I once drew a fairy dragon and someone commented saying "It's so cute! You should adopt them out!" and the idea's been in my head ever since. Well, while procrastinating on doing schoolwork I set up a complete genetics system for these guys, and then made these ten as the "founding" kikuri for possible future adoptions.
These ten display all the different variable traits- ears, horns, spines, and wings, as well as some of the many, many color combinations, all of which are determined by genetics. The ones with curly fins at the ends of their tails are male, the ones without are female. With all the different possible color combinations and physical traits taken into account, there are over 6 trillion possible kikuri!
Would anyone be interested in adopting these guys out if I set up a full cyber adoption for them? I'm seriously considering it; it would probably be run out of deviant art or something.
oh, I'd definetly adopt one! So cute! I like the white and red and puprle ones. x3

Do you ever think of someone else's past? Think of another's struggles? Ease a stranger's pain? Do you ever look through someone's else's eyes, step into someone else's shoes, and wonder how others see the world?
I think it could go well if I could get people to look at it, heh. I seem to be stuck in a mostly-invisible corner of the net.
These particular ones wouldn't be for adoption, though; they'd just be the initial pairs for the first few adoptable clutches.

Life is like Tetris... you aren't always given the pieces that fit nicely, but if you don't make do with what you get the screen fills up and you get a game over.. or something like that.
Glad you like them White would be a bit tricky to get, but red and purple will be very common colors. ^^

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.

They're all really cute though, and I think you're adoption idea would go well.
