I drew this back in the beginning of February, on Super Tuesday after voting for the first time ever. =3 I felt strangely patriotic afterwards, and also really wanted to use my colored pencils, so I drew this! Finally scanned it and slapped an American Flag on the background.
So I guess this is my February picture. Forgive me if I think voting's a bit more... significant? than Valentine's Day, heh. Also, happy Leap Day everyone! I think that's also more significant than Valentine's Day. Meh.
It was so nice to use colored pencils again <3 I've missed them. Don't forget to vote if your state hasn't already! If you're a US citizen over 18, of course. *shrug*

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
