*EDIT 8/10 ~ I realized I forgot to add the water spouts to the fountain, d'oh. All better!*
OH MY GOD THIS TOOK SO MUCH WORK. Seriously, are my eyes bleeding? This is my entry for I really got into the idea and went all out with it, and I'm REALLY happy with the result. It's just Azura dancing and doing some sort of magic light show for a blobby audience. Actually, Azura can't do any spells that would do this, but let's just go with it. Also, I left her wings off again. I've decided Azura can decide if she has wings in anthro form or not, because she's supposed to but I just keep forgetting! My computer was having problems while I was working on this one, because it's a LOT of layers and it's HUGE. I had to keep it a lot of layers because I needed to have all the pieces in before I could figure out all the light sources and then I had to figure out all the light sources before I could color the pieces! It was confusing. I used a photo I found on google for the backdrop, but filtered it and editted it and blurred it so it didn't stick out. For the fountain I first of all experimented a lot with the paths tool, and used a couple of different texture tutorials; namely this one [link] for the marble and this one [link] for the stoney texture; and I'm very pleased with the results. I also used one for the water, but I adjusted it a lot and I lost the tutorial anyways. Nurrr. Everything else is just paintbrush and airbrushing. The glowy effects are brought to you by your friendly neighborhood "screen" layer mode. Wheeee. OMG THE LIGHTS. x_x Anyways, enough babbling out of me- can ya tell I haven't been getting enough sleep? It makes me super hyper. Err. Anyways, yes, enjoy! character belongs to me; Zenethia's Festival of Lights concept by Hunter Bahamut. |

This looks amazing Azura, you've done a really impressive job with this, the whole scene is really impressive. Wonderful work with the posing and details, and obviously the colors and lighting and just beautiful.
Thank you very much!

Life is like Tetris... you aren't always given the pieces that fit nicely, but if you don't make do with what you get the screen fills up and you get a game over.. or something like that.
